Who We Are
Our Mission Statement:
Our goal is to keep the student population informed about the school, community, city, state, country, and world issues and events, as well as providing leadership and writing opportunities for students. All while keeping in the Cheverus Grad at Grad philosophy. This will help the students of Cheverus to make informed decisions in everyday life and grow intellectually throughout their time at Cheverus and after.
Senior Staffer: Anthony Zerillo
The senior manager or senior staffer is responsible for planning and directing the work of a group of individuals. They monitor their work and take corrective actions when necessary. The senior manager might guide workers directly or they might direct several supervisors, who in turn directly manage the workers.
Editors in Chief: Danny McCartney & Michael Maurice
Editors in Chief manage and oversee the content produced for publications or websites. This includes reviewing all content produced, such as articles and photographs, and developing strategies and style guidelines. They may also help in the assignment of articles and layout.
Managing Editor: Bo Miller
This includes generating story ideas; planning, assigning, and editing content; commissioning stories and art; overseeing production schedules and editorial calendars; and supervising editorial staff and freelancers. May assist in layout or design.
Head of Literary Review: Ambrose McCullough
The Head of Literary Review is responsible for overseeing and writing reviews of books, poems, epics, etc. May delegate to another journalist.
Head of Layout: Michael Maurice
The Head of Layout is in charge of the layout and overall design of the website and the articles on it. They also select pictures to run with articles.
Writers: Griffin Vivian & Theodore Burkhardt
These are the people that gather information, write news pieces, and present the news in an honest and balanced manner. In addition to investigating and reporting on current events, they also work on articles and features that update and influence public opinion.
